weekend blow out reunion, possibly in Spring 2018!

in the AMAN Alumni Society name, for folk dance & music camps,
festivals and workshops(here and abroad), for college aged young
people with an interest/talent in learning World culture, dance & music.

AND.. to create a separate "hospitality fund" to send (on behalf of the AMAN Alumni) flowers/get-well cards if an alumni is struck with illness,
and/or condolence cards as our numbers begin dwindle...

Our VISION STATEMENT (where we want to go)
In a addition to regular reunion activities, such as music and dance events that revisit the material performed by the ensemble, the AMAN Alumni Society will provide expertise and resources, both intellectual and practical in the California Multicultural Arts Institute’s efforts to support functions that promote the folk arts of a variety of cultures.

Our MISSION STATEMENT (how we're going to get there)
The mission of the Aman Alumni Society is to provide a vehicle for all those who were affiliated with the AMAN Folk Ensemble to perpetuate the energy and creative forces that were embodied in the works of the group. Serving as a means to reconnect and remain connected with the alumni, friends and supporters of the ensemble.  The group will also work in support of the California Multicultural Arts Institute’s efforts to promote the arts of various cultural groups.
